Read through some of our donor stories to learn why they decided to support ASP and perhaps be inspired to join them.
We celebrate our donors and the impact of their gift in our annual report.
When Hege and Neil Nolop and their sons Christopher '07 and Andre '09, came to ASP in 2003, their impact on our school community began to take shape. As an active ASP family, the boys participated in National Honors Society, the Green Team environmental club, volleyball, and basketball, while Hege served on the Board of Trustees.
In 2016, the Nolop family suffered the death of Neil’s brother, Dr. Keith Nolop. An accomplished pharmaceutical researcher working on ground-breaking medicines and advanced cancer treatment, Dr. Keith Nolop was also, “the quintessential uncle… [who] imparted timeless wisdom and always encouraged adventure.” Keith was a strong advocate for STEM education, and in his memory, the Nolop family made a gift to ASP through Keith’s estate. This gift allowed ASP to build The Nolop Tech Shop, which was inaugurated in 2018.
In 2021, alumni parents Neil and Hege Nolop made another transformative gift to ASP through the Keith Nolop Foundation. This donation made the renovation of the Community Sports Area and Café Garden (also called "Greentop") possible.
The Sadowski family arrived in Paris in 2021 and has been supporting ASP through generous donations to the ASP Annual Fund, and by leaving a mark on campus with an adopted bench.
Stephanie feels fortunate for the opportunities ASP has given her daughters Ada, Clara, and Amelia: "They were welcomed into a new school, given academically challenging classes, did academic competitions and played sports in many countries. Their minds were expanded to new areas they had not previously explored. ASP and Paris have changed their lives forever in a very positive way."
